Strong demand for silver nanowire drives Cambrios Q2 revenues to new heights
Cambrios film solutions recorded a revenue growth of 680% in the first quarter of this year when compared to the same period of last year. Cambrios is widely recognized as a leading manufacturer of top-quality silver nanowire film products and has earned praise for the performance of its products which is far ahead of its competitors. The company has also conquered the market for extra-large interactive whiteboards (IWB). The global pandemic showed no signs of abating in the first half of this year, which spurred the demand for work-from-home solutions, online education and teleconferences. This increased demand bolstered the production capacities for IWB and boosted the company’s order momentum. The output volume hit a new high in June and revenues in the second quarter rose by a whopping 290% and 183% compared to the same period of last year and the first quarter of this year, respectively.
Due to the high level of uncertainty in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, people are gradually transforming their work- and life-styles and rely to an increasing extent on remote electronic equipment. The industry is optimistic that the momentum generated by these developments is more robust than originally anticipated. Cambrios has therefore pro-actively adjusted its operating layout in anticipation of continued business growth in the second half of the year.
