Hsinchu, Taiwan – UniDisplay Inc. (UDI), a professional touch panel maker in Taiwan, today announced that it has begun shipping touch sensor modules into mobile phone and tablet applications. The 4.7-inch and 8.3-inch diagonal touch screen modules are based on UDI’s One-Film-Solution (OFS) using Cambrios’ ClearOhm® silver nanowire material. UDI’s customers in India and China have been successfully using its OFS touch panels in mobile phones for more than six months and a customer in Europe has launched a tablet using the same technology.
